If you are like me, you scoured the new-stands at the break of dawn today to find the only issue on sale is #1214. The folk at Barnes&Noble said it would not likely be on their shelves until around the weekend (Fri/Sat). I also noticed this on the EW.com site here (link probably won’t be permanent):

You might also check Ebay. Some sellers will ship it worldwide, and fast. Prices can be low or high. Just depends.

Yep, did the same. Seems it may not be on the shelves until Friday. Not sure if the July 3rd mention was a mistake (issue is actually July 13) or intentional hype. Like I will somehow accidentally buy the current copy before realizing it has C.K. Lewis on it instead of Gandalf.🙂

Following up our recent discussion on the legality of the replica version. I spoke with a sword store over here and the owner believes Orcrist will be fine in the UK because it isn’t curved like a katana or sabre. Like Glamdring it has curves but isn’t actually curved.
I think UC will probably have this out for Christmas. Now I know whats on my Christmas list😀
