When it rains, it pours!  Here are two exclusive statues making their debut at Comic-con:

From TORn:

Fans of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey get another exclusive at this years Comic-Con. Gentle Giant is adding one more collectible to their plethora of exclusives by announcing today that Thorin Oakenshield will be joining the collectibles you can buy later this week. This bust has been digitally scanned to ensure the likeness of Richard Armitage, his outfit, and weapons are all film accurate. Each of these busts has also been hand painted to insure the highest quality collectible. Thorin can be purchased at Gentle Giants booth #3513 for $70 and online sales start during Preview Night at 6pm PST. So those of you in San Diego, be sure to act fast as Thorin has an edition size of only 500 pieces world wide.

And from Wetanz.com comes this:

A Touch of Middle-earth will be on display at the Weta Booth #3513B at San Diego Comic-Con on 11-15 July
Weta is excited to offer two exclusive items for sale at Comic-Con International: San Diego:

Thorin Oakenshield – with shield*
The first in a range of 1:6 scale polystone statues.
US$249 – Limit 2 per person
This limited edition collection will have a run of 700 pieces, 500 of which will be available for purchase at San Diego Comic-Con. (The remaining 200 statues will be reserved for sale in October at the Weta Cave in New Zealand and at Ring*Con in Germany.)
*Note there will be a separate version, without shield, available at www.wetaNZ.com in October 2012

Update 7/11/12:  A note on the Weta forums explains why you can’t yet see the shield, even though it is on this statue:

In addition, I confirm the shield is part of the exclusive collectible. It is worn under Thorin’s cloak on his left side. We are not allowed to offer any further pics at this stage, but he will be on display at Comic Con, so you will no doubt see fan pics soon.
