Richard Armitage was on The Marilyn Denis show this morning. Aside from the interview itself, there is also a new scene from the film where the Company must deal with the sudden appearance of wargs. *Spoilers* An HD version of the video can be seen here.
Three more TV spots have been captured and put on YouTube. Low quality, but some of the new scenes are unsurpassed as far as awesome.
Thanks to TheInception and ShadowsofMordor for sharing.
Screencaps of some of the highlights below: Smaug rapping at the door (so to speak); Thorin, the dwarves of Erebor, and I assume Thrain preparing for the dragon to break through; Thorin with a larger oak shield, and during the battle of Moria with a younger Dwalin.
I just spent a few minutes watching some really intense scenes from 3 new TV spots which are not available online yet. If you choose to view the three clips in lower quality below, then you’ll get glimpses of (in no particular order) the dragon flying and fireballs raining down on a fortification, Thorin leading an army in flashback (next to Thrain, I think), two opposing armies about to clash, Thorin raising his sword in front of what could be the Gate of Moria, Gandalf and Galadriel having a lingering moment, Thorin vs. the Goblin King, Bilbo about to fall off a cliff, the Eagles, someone approaching Dol Guldur (I think), more fun on the Stone Giants, and a “Have you hugged your hobbit today?” moment.
Thanks to Elutherian23, TheInception, and TheBluep0tat0 who all found a way to get that stuff out there so we can drool over it sooner than later.
Update 12/1/12 : The official version of the Smaug spot is now online and labeled #9. Screencaps from it are here.
They are really coming fast now. Here is the International TV spot from WBondemand. Subtitled for the Japanese audience. More fun with trolls and gollum.
WarnerBrosPictures released the newest TV spot on YouTube today. We get to see brief moments of wargs attacking Dori, Thorin attacking trolls and goblins, a stone giant brawl, Galadriel looking lovely in the moonlight, and Kili firing an arrow. Good fun it is!
Screencaps of the new scenes in the gallery.
